JACK PURCELL FALL 2010.

Eye.Must.Have.
Converse is taking the classic Jack Purcells to another level. There will be traditional canvas renditions, but what is most eye catching is the leather maroon low cut and the black hi cut version. While the maroon takes the traditional low cut shape, the black has a bit of mountaineering inspiration with the use of d-ring eyelets. All three versions of this classic badminton sneaker will be made from premium materials, and would make a nice addition to any collection.

MMMM FOOD: HASH HOUSE.

Some friends told me about the Hash House and how the portions over there were huge. This restaurant does not play around. The flavor profiles were too sweet for my taste but I have to give it up to the presentation style. If you decide to go there... bring a friend[or two skinny girls] along to share a plate. It was my little brother's birthday and they didn't bring out any cake. Cupcake? Hash House Fail!

Meatloaf sandwich with pesto potatoes.

That's what a $20 fried chicken and waffle plate looks like.

After the meal... we decided to do some hunting for the most dangerous game of all.

MAN.

Shells.

Duck season.

I think we got 'em!!

KNYEW+FRANCINE DEE.

Chickens & Beer.
Francine Dee was an icon in the import scene back in the day. There aren't many places import models can fall back on. In my experience, they either become go-go dancers or go the exotic dancer route. My guess with old Ms. Dee here is the latter. I always appreciate when new companies resurrect old faves like Francine Dee... though she is not looking too good these days.

LAST LOOK: DAVID BURKE.

CURRENT MOOD: WINDED & HUNGRY

If you've ever walked out of the Venetian[blasted out of your mind]... you will see girls[sometimes dudes :/] molesting a Humpty Dumpty mini statue. The spot is called David Burke and the restaurant is adorned with all types of egg-like figures. The owner is supposedly obsessed with eggs and that is the theme he went with. David Burke closed last week[/sadface] and I didn't even get to sample the menu. The dishes looked decent but may be a bit gimmicky. We hung out for a bit and got silly. The desserts were good.
